Frequently asked passenger questions

Of course. You can buy a flight ticket to any destination, and the departure can be anywhere in the world. We send the written version of the electronic ticket (e-ticket) directly by email.

When making a booking, you are not obliged to pay for the flight ticket immediately if you do not wish to. Choose bank transfer as the payment method, and the booking confirmation, which is not binding for you, will arrive directly in your email with all payment instructions.

The deadline for purchasing a flight ticket depends on the fare conditions. The lower the fare, the shorter the booking lasts. If there are more than 5 days until the trip, the ticket price may hold until the end of the day on which you made the booking, i.e. payment for the ticket by the end of the office's working hours. If there are less than 24 hours until the trip, call us so we can arrange payment. The ticket price cannot be guaranteed until the ticket is issued.

If you need to buy a ticket right away and it is the weekend, it is best to pay for the ticket by credit card directly when making the booking. As soon as you complete the booking, the confirmation arrives in your email instantly, and the e-ticket a few minutes later. If you want to pay for flight tickets in cash or by bank transfer, we will do everything we can to extend the payment deadline until Monday; in that case you must contact us by email. If this is not possible, we will send you information by email that the deadline for paying for the ticket is immediate.

Of course. Our agents are at your disposal at 0800 400 104 and +381 62 42 42 84 (Viber and WhatsApp) during working hours, or you can contact us by email at info@aviokarta.eu.

All tickets are electronic. You can collect a printed copy of the e-ticket at our office in Belgrade or Novi Sad.

Flight check-in usually closes 60 minutes before the flight. It is recommended to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight so that the passenger can check in on time, pass customs and passport control and reach the boarding gate on time.
Now, in these exceptional circumstances, when online check-in is not available, we recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight so that you can complete all the necessary procedures without rushing.

No. With scheduled airlines this is not possible; flights must be used in sequence. If you do not show up for the outbound part of the ticket, the airline automatically cancels the return part of your ticket as well.

Additional services and assistance can be requested by calling our call centre on 0800 400 104. Our agents will submit the request to the airline on your ticket.

If you have only made a booking, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can cancel it without penalty. If you have bought the flight ticket, you can review the cancellation, i.e. refund, conditions on your ticket. If you have not yet bought your ticket, you can cancel it by calling 0800 400 104.

If you have purchased the ticket, a refund is possible under the airline's conditions. For information and the conditions of your fare, you can contact us at 0800 400 104.

You don’t need to print the e-ticket, but you do need a printed boarding pass. In some cases customs may ask to see the ticket, so it is important to have a printed version of the e-ticket.

Add “JR” (meaning junior) to the younger passenger’s surname so the system lets you complete the booking.
Example: For the first passenger enter (last name) Markovic (first name) Marko, then for the second passenger enter (last name) Markovic JR (first name) Marko.

Return flight tickets must have exact departure and return dates. It is not possible to have a return ticket without exact travel dates. If you are not sure you will return on the date shown on the ticket, we advise you to choose fares that can be changed with certain change penalties, or to buy a one-way ticket, but you must check with the relevant authorities whether you are allowed to travel one-way.

If your baggage does not arrive on your flight, you must report it at the lost&found desk at the airport where you landed, immediately after landing. You must describe your baggage and present the label (TAG) showing the baggage number and flight numbers, as well as the address to which you want your baggage delivered.

No. A flight ticket is not a transferable document and may only be used by the person in whose name it is issued. Most airlines do not allow even a single letter in the name to be changed. If you have such a problem, please call our call centre as soon as possible.

Date changes depend on the fare conditions and the airline's rules. If a change is not allowed, this will be clearly stated when making the booking and on the ticket itself. For information and the conditions of your fare, you can contact us at 0800 400 104.

Many travellers expect that buying a larger number of tickets, as with other products, will result in a lower price per person. However, with flight tickets this is usually not the case.
Each fare (class) on the plane has a limited number of seats at a given price. When the cheapest tickets sell out, the next available ones are at higher fares.
When you want to secure a larger number of tickets on the same flight and date (e.g. for 10, 20, 30 or more passengers), there are often not enough seats in the lowest fare for the whole group.
Because of this, some of the tickets have to be bought at higher prices.
As a result, the total price for a group is usually the sum of tickets at different fares – from the cheapest to more expensive ones, depending on the current seat availability on the plane.
The average price per person in a group can therefore be the same as or even higher than when buying a smaller number of tickets.
That is why it is best to book the tickets for your group trip as early as possible, while lower fares are still available.

With group flight tickets, you usually don’t have to submit passenger names immediately when booking.
Most airlines allow you to enter or change names a certain number of days before travel, in accordance with their rules.
This means that, up to a certain deadline set by the airline, you can change the names of passengers in the group free of charge.
After that, and usually after the tickets are issued, a name change is either restricted or charged extra, depending on the airline's policy.
We recommend that when booking you check the exact deadlines and conditions for entering and changing names, as the rules vary from airline to airline.

Reducing the number of passengers in a group is possible by a certain percentage and up to a certain deadline set by the airline, usually until the tickets are issued.
During that period, a certain number of passengers can usually be removed at no extra cost or for a minimal fee, depending on the airline's rules.
After the tickets are issued, reducing the number of passengers is usually not possible or involves additional costs, i.e. a penalty, in accordance with the fare rules.
We recommend that when booking you check precisely the deadlines and conditions for reducing the number of passengers, as the rules differ for each airline.

Increasing the number of passengers in a group is generally possible before the tickets are issued, but at the currently available fares and in accordance with the airline's rules.
Passengers are added at the prices and conditions valid at the time the group is expanded.
After the tickets are issued, if you want to add more passengers, their booking will usually be treated as individual travel (especially if fewer than 9 additional people are involved), with the prices and rules that apply to individual tickets.
We recommend that you contact us for details and options for expanding your group, as the rules differ for each airline.

The minimum number of passengers for group flight tickets is 10.  All bookings with fewer passengers are treated as individual and are not subject to the rules and benefits of group fares.

Unlike individual tickets, which are paid immediately or shortly after booking, group flight tickets have a special payment schedule set by the airline.
Depending on the travel dates, the percentage and payment deadlines may vary, but payment is most often made in three instalments:

  •  Part I : (deposit): paid after the group booking is confirmed.
  •  Part II: paid as a certain percentage, depending on the airline’s rules and the start of travel.
  •  Part III: the remaining amount is paid just before ticketing, usually about 10 days before the group’s departure.

Exact amounts and deadlines will be defined at the time of booking. We recommend that you contact us for detailed information on the payment schedule for your group.

Although group flight tickets do not guarantee a lower price than individual ones, they usually offer more benefits :

  • Pay in instalments – the amount is usually paid in several instalments, according to a set schedule.
  • Passenger name change – names can be changed free of charge up to a certain deadline before travel.
  • Reducing or expanding the group – the number of passengers can be changed in accordance with the airline's rules.
  •  Change of travel dates – in some cases it is possible to change the date for the whole group.
  •  Checked baggage – usually included in the group ticket price, whereas with individual tickets it is often paid separately.

All these benefits apply until the tickets are issued, which is usually about 10 days before departure, according to
the airline's rules. We suggest you contact us for detailed information and advice.

Children up to 12 years and infants up to 24 months get a certain discount on group flight tickets, as with individual bookings.
However, with group fares, the application of child discounts also depends on the airline's rules – the discount is usually granted only for a certain percentage of children in the group.
This means the discount will not apply to all children if their number exceeds the permitted percentage under the airline's policy.
We recommend that when booking you ask about discounts and conditions for children on group flights.

If a passenger from the group does not show up for the flight (“no show”) or cancels the trip 24 – 48h before (depending on the airline), the rules are the same as for individual tickets.
The airline usually retains the full amount of that ticket and does not issue a refund.
In some cases, certain taxes or part of the amount may be refunded, but this depends entirely on the airline's rules and the type of fare purchased.
We recommend that before travelling you find out in detail about the conditions and cancellation terms for your group booking.

Group flight tickets are best booked as early as possible, ideally a few months before the planned trip. This increases your chances of lower prices and better seat availability.

Passenger names are usually submitted later, by the deadline set by the airline (usually about 10 days before departure).
Until then, names can be changed free of charge or for a fee.
Names are sent to the travel agent in writing by email, together with the required passport details depending on the destination and airline.

In most cases, checked baggage as well as the standard hand baggage are included in the group ticket price, and it is often not possible to separate the checked baggage from the price if the group does not need it.
However, some airlines allow a group fare to be set without checked baggage, depending on the group’s needs, but the price difference between tickets with and without baggage is usually negligible.
For accurate information about baggage and fare customisation options, we recommend that you contact us when booking your group.

Yes, an invoice can be issued to a company for the whole group, whether it is a leisure, business or sports trip.
You just need to provide the company's correct details when booking your group.

Group travel conditions cannot be obtained through the website.
For group bookings (9 or more passengers), we recommend that you fill in the group travel form on our website or send us a request by email (number of passengers, date, destination), after which our flight agent will
