CURRENCY CONVERSION STATEMENT
All payments will be made in the local currency of the Republic of Serbia – the dinar (RSD).
For informational display of prices in other currencies, the middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia is used.
The amount charged to your payment card will be expressed in your local currency through conversion at the exchange rate used by the card organisations, which cannot be known to us at the time of the transaction.
As a result of this conversion, there may be a slight difference from the original price stated on our website. Thank you for your understanding.
ELECTRONIC TICKET
The electronic ticket is a contract of carriage between the passenger and the carrier. The electronic ticket is non-transferable. The passenger’s first name and surname cannot be changed. The passenger will not be entitled to carriage if he or she does not present personal identification documents valid for travel and if no valid Electronic Ticket has been issued in his or her name.
The passenger is obliged, at the request of the carrier or other competent authorities, to present the ticket and surrender the relevant flight coupons. The carrier has the right to refuse carriage to the passenger if the data on the ticket have been changed after the original issuance. If the carrier is unable to provide the passenger with a previously reserved seat on the aircraft, or if a flight is cancelled within the validity period of the ticket, the validity of the ticket will be extended until the carrier is able to perform the carriage.
Each airline ticket is valid for carriage for one year from the date of commencement of travel or, if no part of the ticket has been used, from the date of its issuance, unless otherwise stated in the ticket, the conditions of carriage or the carrier’s regulations. A stopover is possible only if permitted by the fare conditions.
SEQUENCE OF FLIGHT COUPONS AND THEIR USE
The ticket purchased by the Passenger is valid only for the carriage stated on the Ticket, from the place of departure, via all scheduled stopping places, to the final destination. The price of the airline ticket paid by the passenger is based on certain fares and applies to the carriage stated on the Airline Ticket. The Airline Ticket will not be honoured and its validity will cease if all flight Coupons of the airline ticket are not used in the sequence in which they are given in the Airline Ticket.
FARES
Fares apply to carriage from the airport at the place of departure to the airport at the place of destination, unless otherwise indicated. Fares do not include surface transportation between airports, nor between airports and city terminals. The price of the airline ticket paid by the Passenger is calculated according to the airlines’ Fares valid on the date of payment for travel according to the itinerary stated on the Airline Ticket. Fare charges are paid in cash or by non-cash payment at the exchange rate determined by the agent, which may not be higher than the selling rate of Banca Intesa.
An airline ticket issued at a special fare may be used exclusively under the conditions specified for that fare. Any change of routing or date of departure may result in a change of fare.
In addition to the fare, the passenger is obliged to pay all taxes and charges applicable in air carriage which have been established or imposed by the competent state authorities. The passenger is obliged to inform himself or herself of possible exceptions where the transportation tax is collected at the place of departure.
AIRLINE TICKET RESERVATION
The passenger may make an online airline ticket reservation himself or herself via the internet portals:
• In the Republic of Serbia www.aviokarta.rs or www.avio.rs
• In the Republic of Croatia www.aviokarta.hr
• In Bosnia and Herzegovina www.aviokarta.ba
• In the Republic of Montenegro www.aviokarta.me
• In the Republic of Macedonia www.avionskibileti.mk or www.evtiniaviobileti.mk
• In the Republic of Slovenia www.letalska.si or www.letalskavozovnica.com or www.aviovozovnice.si
• In the EU www.aviokarta.eu and www.aironline.eu
• Global www.avio.travel
Upon completion of an online reservation, the passenger receives by email a confirmation of the reservation made, a Pro Forma Invoice – Instructions for Payment of the Airline Ticket, Flight Rules – the rules applicable to that airline ticket and fare, the Special Travel Conditions, the General Travel Conditions… during the working hours of the AVIO KARTA portal, 24/7.
The displayed price includes: carriage of the passenger, airport taxes, baggage and the airline ticket issuance service in a single combined amount. The confirmation clearly states which baggage, of what type and how much is included in the price of the reserved ticket. If it is not stated that “allowed baggage” is 23 kg/30 kg, but instead the offer and confirmation state “baggage surcharge”, this means that only hand baggage is included in the ticket price and that “Checked baggage” must be paid for additionally. Information on the price and method of purchasing “Checked baggage” can be obtained from the AGENT.
There are no hidden costs in the ticket price, regardless of the payment method. Once purchased, tickets are subject to rules governing subsequent changes to an already issued airline ticket, which differ for each ticket/airline/fare. The rules of airline tickets are set by the airline – the carrier, whether they concern changes or cancellations of airline tickets. The Agency acts as an intermediary in their application and provides explanations at the client’s request. Given that AIRFANTAST acts as an intermediary in the contract of carriage between the passenger and the airline in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations, we wish to draw your attention also to the possibility, in technical terms, of an unforeseen interruption of the electronic connections between the databases/servers of the airlines and our server through which you make your online reservation.
The passenger is obliged to read the Flight Rules, i.e. the ticket rules, which are in English, and if he or she does not understand them, may call the Agent at the numbers listed on the website to explain the fare conditions, the rules concerning changes or refunds, and other details relating to that fare… Also, the passenger should immediately check whether the flight dates and the first names and surnames are written correctly, since any subsequent corrections after the ticket has been written/issued may cause additional financial costs to the detriment of the passenger. An issued ticket may be voided free of charge only on the same day until 19:00 Central European Time, and in exceptional situations until 20:00!
If the passenger wishes an agent of the aviokarta.rs portal to make an airline ticket reservation for him or her, it is necessary to provide an email address to which we can send the confirmation of the airline ticket reservations made, together with their conditions and payment deadline. By paying for the airline tickets, the passenger confirms their correctness and his or her understanding of them.
If the person ordering the airline ticket reservations does not have an email address and wishes to pay in cash, it is necessary, upon coming to our office, to check the issued airline tickets and sign the airline ticket and its conditions. We accept no responsibility for any information given orally. Only information given in writing is valid. By paying for airline tickets and hotels, you confirm the validity of the data on the airline tickets.
Reservations are free of charge and may be made and cancelled without any costs. The price is guaranteed on the day of reservation and most often for the following 24 h (99.99%), but owing to daily changes in the EUR/CHF/RSD/HRK/BAM-KM/MKD exchange rates, as well as the airline’s discretionary right to change the fare/taxes or the conditions of the selected fare, the Agency is in that respect unable to guarantee the previous offer to the client if, for the aforementioned reasons, the airline has changed the fare rules. Only a paid and issued airline ticket retains its conditions as at the time of purchase.
If you make more than one reservation for the same passenger on the same route and for the same flight times, the system will automatically recognise and cancel all the reservations. Once a reservation has been made, it may be changed and corrected by calling the telephone numbers or by sending a request to info@aviokarta.rs, in accordance with the rules and the change options prescribed by the airline.
DEADLINES FOR PAYMENT OF THE AIRLINE TICKET
The internet portal AVIO KARTA issues and collects payment for the airline ticket on the same day or within a maximum of 24 h from the airline ticket reservation. If, when making the reservation, you selected payment by Payment Card (Visa, Master, American…), we will charge it within 2-12 h from the time of the reservation. A protective period of 2 h or 120 minutes is left to the client to check the passenger data, the flight plan and the baggage information, and to become acquainted with the Flight Rules – the rules of the ticket and fare, the General Terms of Use and the Special Travel Conditions.
If the passenger wishes to withdraw from the reservation without costs, it is necessary to send, within this period, an email requesting cancellation of the reservation, without being obliged to state his or her reasons, or to point out errors that need to be corrected/changed before the ticket is charged. The deadline for issuing the airline ticket depends on the fare of the airline ticket itself.
If the Bank is unable to charge the amount to the payment card, which does not mean that there are no funds on the card or that we do not accept that type of payment card, we will inform you that we were unable to charge your card and that we are proceeding with one of the alternative methods of payment. The alternative method of payment is to make a payment at a bank to our company’s account, in accordance with the attachment you received entitled “Pro Forma Invoice – Payment Instructions”, following the instructions received from the bank.
The moment at which the AGENT is obliged to issue the ticket is when the card has been successfully processed or when the payment has been recorded in its account.
If the passenger makes an airline ticket reservation after 18:00 at a fare that must be issued on the same day and chooses payment at the office or at a bank, the portal www.aviokarta.rs accepts no responsibility whatsoever for its cancellation.
The reservation of a seat on a particular flight is carried out by an authorised agent. A seat reservation is not binding until the agent/carrier issues a valid ticket, a “Miscellaneous Charges Order” (MCO) or a “Prepaid Ticket Advice” (PTA) specifying the reserved seat. The agent has the right to cancel the reservation without prior notice if the passenger does not pay for the ticket by the deadline set by the agent. In the case of payment by bank transfer, the money must reach the AGENT’s account in good time (before the expiry of the maximum deadline for issuing the ticket).
If the passenger is unable to pay for the ticket within the deadline prescribed by the airline, he or she should contact the AGENT so that the AGENT may attempt to extend the reservation/make a new one/renew it.
PROTECTION OF CONFIDENTIAL TRANSACTION DATA
When payment card data are entered, the confidential information is transmitted over the public network in a protected (encrypted) form using the SSL protocol and the PKI system, as the currently most advanced cryptographic technology. The security of data during purchase is guaranteed by the payment card processor, so the entire payment process is carried out on the bank’s pages. At no time are the payment card data available to our system.
PROTECTION OF USER PRIVACY
“On behalf of the aviokarta.rs portal, AIRFANTAST undertakes to protect the privacy of all our customers. We collect only the necessary, basic data on customers/users and the data necessary for business operations and for informing users in accordance with good business practice and with the aim of providing a quality service. We give customers a choice, including the option to decide whether or not they wish to be removed from the mailing lists used for marketing campaigns.
All data on users/customers are kept strictly confidential and are available only to employees who need such data to perform their work. All employees of AIRFANTAST and of the aviokarta.rs portal (and business partners) are responsible for observing the principles of privacy protection.”
CURRENCY OF PAYMENT FOR THE AIRLINE TICKET
If the airline ticket is paid in cash at our offices/payment points, payment is made in the local currency.
If payment is made via or to an account, the currency of payment is the dinar, the euro or the US dollar.
The amount charged to your payment card will be expressed in your local currency through conversion at the exchange rate used by the card organisations, which cannot be known to us at the time of the transaction. As a result of this conversion, there may be a slight difference from the original price stated on our website. The airline may charge the amount in CHF/USD, and it is always approximately equal to the amount shown on our website.
AIRCRAFT SEATS
At the client’s request, the AVIO KARTA portal will reserve seats on the aircraft for passengers, if the airline permits this. This service is free of charge, except on flights and in classes where seat selection is charged additionally by the Airline. The portal, i.e. the AGENT, is unable to guarantee the passenger that he or she will sit in a particular seat. The airline reserves the right to assign seats or change the seat allocation even after boarding the aircraft. This may be necessary for operational, safety or security reasons.
RECONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION
When the passenger has purchased a return airline ticket for a particular destination, the passenger is not obliged to reconfirm his or her journey by calling our call centre.
PASSENGER CHECK-IN AND BOARDING
Check-in deadlines differ from airport to airport. The Passenger must enquire about these deadlines and comply with them. Airlines have the right to cancel the Passenger’s reservation if the Passenger does not comply with the check-in deadlines. The Passenger is obliged to enquire about airport check-in deadlines himself or herself. The check-in deadlines of all airlines in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Skopje, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Vienna and Zurich are 2:00 h before the departure time indicated on the airline ticket, while the check-in deadline at other European Airports is 2 h 45 min!
The Passenger must be present in the boarding area no later than the time communicated to him or her by the airline at check-in.
The airline has the right to cancel the Passenger’s reservation if the Passenger does not appear at the boarding gate on time.
If you are travelling with one airline to the final destination, your baggage will be checked through to the end.
If you use the services of two different airlines on one airline ticket, and if it has been agreed between the carriers that your baggage will be checked through to the end, and if you do not make a stopover longer than 24 hours, your baggage will be checked through to the end. Otherwise, it is necessary to collect your baggage and check it in again at the place of the intermediate stop.
The airline and the portal www.aviokarta.rs accept no responsibility for any losses or costs that the Passenger may incur because he or she did not comply with the provisions of this article. The portal www.aviokarta.rs is not obliged to inform the passenger of agreements between airlines concerning the through check-in of baggage.
DUTIES OF THE PASSENGER IN AIR TRANSPORT
1. Before purchasing the ticket and boarding the aircraft, the passenger is obliged, at the request of an employee of the IATA agent or of the carrier or of state authorities, to prove his or her identity and produce the appropriate travel documents.
2. When purchasing the ticket, the passenger is obliged to inform the air carrier, through the IATA agent, of his or her health problems which could make his or her carriage more difficult or adversely affect the course of the flight.
3. The passenger is obliged to undergo a security check, which includes his or her checked and hand baggage.
4. According to the applicable international regulations, the passenger may not carry in his or her hand baggage weapons, ammunition, knives, toys resembling real weapons (e.g. pistols, grenades) or other items of a similar nature. Such items must be packed in checked baggage according to a special procedure. The carrier disclaims any responsibility for the safekeeping of such items. Dangerous items (explosives and ammunition, fuels, compressed gases, poisons or toxic and infectious substances, oxidising substances, radioactive material, magnetic material and other dangerous goods) may be carried only under special conditions of carriage.
5. The passenger is obliged to observe the rules of air carriage and to comply with the carrier’s instructions concerning, above all:
– boarding, assembling and moving within the passenger areas,
– entering and leaving the aircraft,
– stowing clothing and hand baggage in the aircraft.
6. The passenger must not, by his or her conduct, endanger the safety and operation of air carriage, disturb or harass other passengers or give them cause for complaint, prevent the aircraft crew from properly performing their duties, or damage the property of the carrier or of passengers.
7. The passenger is also obliged to:
– report to the place of boarding and complete all required formalities and procedures on time, no later than the time set by the carrier. The passenger is advised to enquire about this with the carrier or its authorised agent,

LIABILITY OF THE CARRIER
1. The general liability of the carrier in international air carriage is governed by the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules relating to International Carriage by Air, the so-called Warsaw Convention, Art. 15/1935, as amended by the Hague Protocol, Art. 15/1966.
2. Limitation of the carrier’s liability
a) the liability of the carrier under the Warsaw Convention, as supplemented and amended by the Hague Protocol, for damage resulting from the death or injury of a passenger is limited to the amount of USD 20,000, and to the amount of USD 58,000 (USD 75,000 including legal costs) under the Montreal Agreement for flights to/from/via the USA and Canada.
3. Liability for damage
a) the carrier is liable only for damage occurring on its own route. A carrier which has issued a ticket or loaded baggage onto the route of another carrier acts only as that carrier’s agent.
The passenger nevertheless has the right, in the case of checked baggage, to claim compensation from the first or the last carrier.
b) the carrier is not liable for damage caused to hand baggage or other items for whose care and safekeeping the passenger is responsible, except where the damage was caused through the fault of the carrier or where the passenger lost the ability to look after his or her baggage. If the damage was caused through the joint fault of the passenger and the carrier, they shall bear shared liability according to their respective share of responsibility for causing the damage.
c) the carrier is liable up to the amount of the actual damage, at most up to the limit of its liability. The carrier is not liable for indirect damage or for loss of profit,
d) the carrier is liable for loss or delay occurring during air carriage through its fault,
e) the carrier is not liable for any damage, loss or harm caused by natural causes, by the death of animals or by the behaviour of animals, such as biting, kicking, goring or suffocation, or by improper care of an animal, or by the inability of animals to adapt to the various conditions of air carriage,
f) the carrier is not liable for damage to fragile and brittle items or perishable goods, or for the loss of money, jewellery, precious metals, medicines, keys, video cameras, cameras and other electronic devices, bonds and securities or other valuables, business documents, passports and other identification documents placed in the passenger’s checked baggage, with or without the knowledge of the carrier. The carrier is not liable for damage to the passenger’s baggage caused by the contents of the baggage,
g) in the case of carriage of passengers whose age, mental or physical condition is such as to be dangerous or risky for that person, the carrier shall not be liable for any illness, injury or disability, including death, if such illness, injury, disability or death is a consequence of the said condition of such person,
h) the limitation of the carrier’s liability applies to all employees, agents and representatives of the carrier.
DUTIES OF THE CARRIER IN AIR TRANSPORT
1. The carrier is obliged to ensure that passengers are acquainted with the location and method of use of:
a) seat belts,
b) emergency exits and equipment intended for common use,
c) life jackets and oxygen masks, where the use of such equipment is prescribed for passengers,
d) other emergency equipment intended for individual use.
2. Passengers must be informed of the rule prohibiting smoking and the use of electronic devices on board the aircraft, as well as of violations of regulations for which they may be fined.
3. Should the need arise, the carrier is obliged to inform passengers of the emergency procedures appropriate to the situation at hand.
4. The carrier is obliged to ensure that passengers are able to use seat belts during take-off, landing, turbulence and in any other case at the call of the aircraft captain, and is obliged to inform passengers of their location on the aircraft
RIGHT TO REFUSE CARRIAGE
Every airline has the right to refuse the carriage of any passenger or passenger baggage for reasons of flight safety or at its discretion. In that case, the Passenger will be entitled to a refund of the airline ticket paid for.
The airline has the right to refuse to accept Baggage if it considers that it is not adequately and securely packed in suitable packaging.
REFUSAL AND LIMITATION OF CARRIAGE
1. General provisions
The carrier may refuse to carry a passenger:
a) if this is required by the carrier’s regulations relating to the actual operation of the flight,
b) if the passenger violates the regulations in force in the country from which the aircraft departs, in which it lands or through which it merely passes,
c) if the passenger suffers from an infectious disease which he or she is obliged to report in advance, or if he or she suffers from a serious illness and is unable to take care of his or her own mental and physical condition and is not accompanied by an escort who can provide him or her with the necessary assistance,
d) if the passenger, by his or her conduct, jeopardises the safety of carriage or public order and peace, or if he or she is not appropriately dressed,
e) if any of the duties set out in Article 7 is breached.
2. Passenger’s right to compensation
A passenger who has been refused carriage or whose carriage has been limited in accordance with paragraph 1.a) of the preceding provision may, as compensation for the unperformed flight, be refunded the fare or the proportionate part thereof relating to the unused part of the flight, or may be offered alternative carriage by another aircraft or by another mode of transport. If the passenger has been excluded from carriage for other reasons, a fee shall be deducted from the compensation for the unperformed flight, unless the carrier requires a different application of the refund rules.
BAGGAGE
1. General provisions
Baggage is carried as checked and unchecked (hand baggage). The passenger is entitled to free carriage of baggage in accordance with the following provisions of these Conditions.
Baggage carried as “checked baggage” is clearly indicated on the reservation as “Allowed baggage”, with the quantity and weight permitted for that ticket fare. If the offer or reservation confirmation states “Baggage surcharge”, this means that the fare and class concerned do not include the baggage referred to as “checked baggage” and that it must be purchased subsequently. This baggage surcharge may be paid at the airport at check-in or through the AGENT.
An increasing number of airlines are switching to the “low cost” system, offering certain fares without “checked baggage”, where only hand baggage, i.e. cabin baggage, is permitted (for dimensions and weight, see under unchecked baggage (hand baggage)).
2. Checked baggage
Well-closed and locked suitcases or other baggage that can be securely closed are accepted as checked baggage. With the carrier’s consent, other items may also be included in the carriage. For baggage that the passenger hands over to the carrier (checked baggage), a baggage identification tag is issued to the passenger as confirmation of acceptance, which the passenger is obliged to keep in case of a claim. Foodstuffs and small animals may also be carried as checked baggage, according to the regulations determined by the carrier.
Each piece of baggage that the passenger wishes to check in must be marked on the outside and inside with an identification label bearing the passenger’s name and his or her contact address at the place of arrival (for example, a hotel address). The name indicated on that label must correspond to the data on the ticket and other travel documents. Baggage, including baggage with a zip fastener, must be closed so that it does not open during carriage. The carrier is not liable for baggage that is not collected immediately after landing. Checked baggage is carried in the hold of the aircraft on which the passenger is travelling. If such carriage is not possible, it will be carried on the nearest possible connection.
The carrier may exclude from carriage, before departure or at any time during the journey, baggage and items which could endanger the safety of the flight, persons or property, as well as baggage and items which could be significantly damaged during air carriage or which are inappropriately packed.
The quantity and type of baggage may be checked exclusively on the website: https://aviokarta.rs/Provera-prtljaga.html
When travelling to/from the USA, within the territory of the USA and Canada, an adult in class C (business) is entitled to free carriage of two pieces of checked baggage, where the sum of the three dimensions of each piece of baggage does not exceed 158 cm and the weight of each does not exceed 23 kg.
In class Y (economy), an adult is entitled to free carriage of one piece of checked baggage where the sum of the three dimensions of the piece of baggage does not exceed 158 cm and the weight of each piece of baggage does not exceed 23 kg. Children up to 2 years of age are entitled to carriage of one piece of baggage whose dimensions do not exceed 115 cm in total, as well as to carriage of a folded pushchair.
On other routes, adults are entitled to free carriage of checked baggage not exceeding 30 kg in weight in class C (business) and 23 kg in class Y (economy). Children up to 2 years of age (who are not entitled to their own seat) are entitled to free carriage of checked baggage not exceeding 10 kg in weight, as well as to carriage of a folded pushchair and of food for the duration of the flight. Children from 2 to 12 years of age are entitled to free carriage of checked baggage to the same extent as adults.
3. Unchecked baggage (hand baggage)
The hand baggage that a passenger may take on board the aircraft is determined by the following dimensions: maximum length 55 cm, maximum width 40 cm and maximum depth 20 cm, while their sum may not exceed 115 cm. A passenger may carry only one piece of hand baggage with a maximum weight of 5 kg, unless otherwise provided by the carrier’s internal regulations. The carrier has the right to check the weight and dimensions of hand baggage.
The following items for personal use, which the passenger carries and looks after himself or herself, are carried free of charge in the aircraft cabin:
– a small handbag
– a coat, scarf or blanket
– an umbrella or walking stick
– a camera, video camera, binoculars, a small portable computer (laptop) or mobile phone
– a carrycot for a child and food for the child during the flight
– spectacles and orthopaedic aids for passengers with disabilities
4. Special types of baggage
Only with the prior consent of the carrier and under the conditions determined by the carrier may the following be carried:
a) live animals, including birds and reptiles (carriage is performed at the passenger’s risk, and only at those places where this is permitted by the applicable regulations).
Carriage is performed:
– in the passenger section of the aircraft (in the cabin) or in the hold
– as cargo.
In addition, a dog accompanying a visually or hearing impaired person, as well as a dog intended for the protection of human life, may be carried free of charge in the aircraft cabin. Dogs must be equipped with a lead, a muzzle, a vaccination certificate and other required documentation.
b) carriage of weapons and ammunition:
weapons of all kinds may be accepted for air carriage only at those places where this is permitted by the applicable regulations. Weapons must be unloaded, with the safety catch on, and placed exclusively in the hold of the aircraft. Ammunition which is explosive by its nature falls within the so-called dangerous goods and may be carried under the conditions set out in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
c) carriage of diplomatic baggage is permitted for diplomatic couriers in the passenger cabin of the aircraft.
A fully assembled wheelchair for persons with disabilities is carried free of charge.
5. Excess baggage
When the so-called piece system of baggage carriage is used to/from the USA, within the territory of the USA and Canada, a fixed charge determined according to the place of arrival is payable for each excess piece of baggage or for exceeding the size or weight limits.
Baggage on other routes whose weight exceeds the permitted weight will be carried according to the carrier’s capacity and possibilities, and a charge is calculated for it according to weight, determined by the charge per 1 kg on the basis of the carrier’s applicable tariff for that purpose (each carrier has its own regulations: for example, 1% of the First or Business class fare for each kilogram)
6. Pooling of baggage weight
If two or more passengers travelling together to the same place on the same aircraft check in their baggage at the same time and at the same place, they will be permitted a combined baggage weight corresponding to the sum of the free baggage allowances of those passengers.
7. Baggage inspection
The carrier may, in the presence of the passenger, verify the contents of his or her baggage. If the passenger is absent, the carrier has the right, in the presence of at least one witness who is not employed by the carrier, to open the passenger’s baggage and establish whether the baggage contains items that are refused carriage or items whose carriage requires a special regime.
8. Unaccompanied baggage
Unaccompanied baggage is carried in accordance with the carrier’s special regulations.
9. Baggage with declared value
The passenger has the option of declaring a value of the checked baggage higher than the amount of the air carrier’s liability, provided that the carrier has established fare conditions for such a case.
10. Collection of checked baggage
a) the passenger is obliged to collect his or her baggage immediately after landing,
b) baggage may be collected only by the holder of the baggage check and the identification tag. The carrier is not obliged to verify whether the holder of the baggage check and the identification tag has collected the baggage and is not liable for any loss, damage or other costs that the passenger may incur in that connection,
c) damage to, non-delivery or loss of baggage must be reported immediately upon collection of the baggage to the carrier, which is obliged to draw up a report thereon. Otherwise, it is presumed that the baggage was delivered in good condition,
d) when damage is reported at a later time, the passenger must prove the causal link between the reported damage and the relevant carriage.
FLIGHT SCHEDULE, DELAYS AND CANCELLED FLIGHTS
The published flight schedule may be changed in the interval between the date of publication and the date of travel. The AVIO KARTA portal does not guarantee the published flight schedules of airlines. The flight schedule is subject to change. It is possible that the flight schedule will change after the Airline Ticket has been issued. The Passenger must provide valid contact details so that we can notify him or her of all changes. If the airline changes the flight schedule in a way that does not suit the Passenger, and is unable to reserve a seat for the Passenger on another flight that suits him or her, the Passenger is entitled to a full refund.
All passenger rights in the event of denied boarding, cancellation and long delay of flights can be read on the airline’s website.
All passenger rights in the event of denied boarding, cancellation and long delay of flights of the airline AIRSERBIA can be downloaded at:
http://www.airserbia.com/en-rs/notice-on-passenger-rights-in-the-event-of-denied-boarding-and-of-cancellation-or-long-delay-of-flights
If, due to circumstances beyond its control, the airline cancels or delays a flight, fails to land at the airport of the stopover or final destination, or causes the passenger to miss a connection to a subsequent flight for which he or she holds a connecting reservation, the Airline is obliged to take one of the following steps:
• to carry the Passenger as soon as possible on another flight on which seats are available, at no additional cost to the Passenger and, if necessary, to extend the validity of his or her Airline Ticket; or
• to reroute the Passenger to the airport of destination in accordance with the destination stated on his or her Ticket, on a flight of its own airline or by another mutually agreed means and in the agreed class of carriage, at no additional cost to the Passenger.
If a flight is delayed or cancelled no later than 24 h before the date of travel, during the working hours of the AVIO KARTA call centre, our call centre will contact the passenger or the person who ordered the purchased airline ticket and inform them of any changes/cancellations. After informing the client of the change or cancellation of the airline ticket, the agents of the AVIO KARTA portal will do everything in their power, with the consent of the airlines, to replace the changed flights with flights that suit the passenger. If none of the proposed flights suits the passenger, the AVIO KARTA portal will refund to the passenger the full amount paid for the airline ticket immediately upon receipt of the refund from the air carrier.
If the airline changes the flight schedule or cancels the journey after 19:00 on a working day, or after 15:00 on Saturday or Sunday, it is obliged to contact each passenger personally and inform him or her of the change in the flight schedule or the cancellation of the airline ticket.
If the airline cancels or reschedules a flight on the day of travel, a few hours before the journey, the passenger will be informed of the flight schedule at the airport by the airline. For all questions at the airport, the passenger is obliged to contact the airline, which will inform him or her of the change in the flight schedule or the cancellation of the airline ticket and of the best option available to the passenger at that moment.
In the event of an airline strike, the passenger is obliged to contact the airline so that the airline can transfer him or her to the first available flight to the desired destination.
The passenger is obliged to check his or her ticket at https://aviokarta.rs/Provera-avionske-karte.html or at https://www.checkmytrip.com and, immediately upon noticing a change or cancellation of any flight on the ticket, to contact the AGENT so that the agent, together with the Airline, can offer a solution for performing the flight.
Irregularities in air carriage
a) for reasons not dependent on the carrier (for reasons of so-called “force majeure”, for example weather conditions, technical reasons that are not the fault of the carrier, in the event of war, strikes of organisations providing transport services, etc.), the carrier may postpone, cancel, terminate or divert a flight, change the type of aircraft or transfer the representation to another carrier, without bearing any further liability, except for the duty to provide carriage by another aircraft or by other means of transport or to refund the fare paid.
b) if a flight is postponed, delayed or cancelled, or the type of aircraft is changed, in circumstances that have arisen through the fault of the carrier, and the carrier is unable to provide a previously confirmed seat, the passenger cannot disembark at the predetermined or final destination, or if circumstances cause the passenger to miss a connecting flight, the carrier is obliged to:
– carry the passenger on another scheduled route on which seats are available, or
– reroute the passenger to the final destination indicated on the ticket on its own scheduled flight or on a flight of another carrier, or provide surface transportation for the passenger. If the costs of taxes, charges for excess baggage and other services connected with the change of routing exceed the value of the price paid for the ticket or a part thereof, the carrier shall not require additional taxes or other charges from the passenger and shall pay the passenger the difference if the taxes and charges for the changed routing are lower than those paid by the passenger, or shall refund the taxes in accordance with the provision of Article 13 of the said Conditions, and shall have no further liability towards the passenger,
– provide a passenger with a confirmed reservation who has been denied boarding due to lack of seats on the aircraft with appropriate compensation determined by the carrier’s regulations.
c) the carrier accepts no liability for errors and omissions in flight schedules or other information obtained from employees or agents of the carrier regarding the time of departure or arrival or aircraft operations, except in cases where the carrier is aware that its conduct or omission will cause damage.
REFUND OF THE AIRLINE TICKET
General refund of the airline ticket
For failure to use or cancellation of a reserved seat, a certain fee is charged under the conditions determined by the airline in accordance with the fare conditions. It is in the passenger’s interest to become informed of the fare conditions before the ticket is issued.
The AVIO KARTA portal will refund the airline ticket or the unused part of the airline ticket in accordance with the applicable fare rules. When making an online airline ticket reservation, the passenger is obliged to read and accept the airline ticket refund conditions in order to be able to make the airline ticket reservation himself or herself.
If an agent of the AVIO KARTA portal makes an airline ticket reservation for clients orally, it is desirable that the client provide an email address so that we can send you the airline ticket reservation by email with all its conditions. If the person ordering/the passenger does not have an email address when paying for the airline ticket in cash at our office, he or she must read and sign the conditions of the airline ticket itself. A refund of the airline ticket is made if the passenger has withdrawn from the journey or the airline has cancelled the flight. A refund of the airline ticket is made exclusively at the place where the airline ticket was purchased and under the conditions stipulated for the particular fare (depending on the fare, the refund may be full, subject to payment of a penalty, or may not be possible). In the event of cancellation of the flight by the airline, a full refund of the airline ticket is made.
A purchased airline ticket cannot be refunded without the airline ticket being submitted.
In the case of return of goods and refund of funds to a customer who previously paid with a payment card, in part or in full, and irrespective of the reason for the return, the AGENT is obliged to make the refund exclusively via the VISA and Maestro payment methods, which means that the bank, at the seller’s request, will make the refund to the cardholder’s account.
Deadline for refund of money
If the airline ticket was paid:
1.In cash – refund within 7 days of the request being submitted (non-working days are not included)
2.By payment to an account – refund within 7 days of the request being submitted (non-working days are not included)
3.By payment card – The deadline for returning the money to the payer’s account is up to 90 days. The money is returned by the airline and the AGENT cannot influence these deadlines. In the case of return of goods and refund of funds to a customer who previously paid with a payment card, in part or in full, and irrespective of the reason for the return, the aviokarta.rs portal / AIRFANTAST is obliged to make the refund exclusively via the VISA, EC/MC and Maestro payment methods, which means that the bank, at the seller’s request, will refund the funds to the cardholder’s account.
In special cases where the passenger withdraws from the flight due to illness or death of close persons, he or she submits supporting documentation, which is sent to the airline for consideration and a decision on the amount of the penalty; the process may take up to 60 days. Immediately upon receipt of the refund, the AGENT will contact the passenger and refund him or her the amount prescribed by the airline.
If the passenger is not satisfied with the amount of the refund, he or she may apply directly to the air carrier.
In the event of cancellation of the journey by the passenger
The Passenger is obliged to reimburse the AGENT for the actual, i.e. incurred, costs (invoice of the air carrier, invoice of the airport, invoice of the insurance company, etc.), if the cancellation occurred due to: sudden illness of the passenger, spouse, child, parent, brother or sister of the passenger, adopted child or adoptive parent; death of the passenger, spouse, child, parent, brother or sister of the passenger, adopted child or adoptive parent; a call-up of the passenger for military exercise; or a natural disaster or state of emergency officially declared by the competent authority of the country of travel.
In the aforementioned cases, the Passenger is obliged to submit to the AGENT proof establishing entitlement to health insurance rights on the grounds of temporary incapacity for work (a certificate from the chosen general practitioner, or a discharge summary from an inpatient health institution expressly confirming the sudden illness and the inability to travel), or a death certificate, or a call-up for military exercise. Cases of local terrorist attacks, explosions, infections, epidemics and other diseases, natural disasters, climatic conditions and the like, for which a state of emergency has not been declared by the competent state authorities of the country of residence or the country of travel, cannot be considered justified reasons for cancellation or interruption of the Passenger’s journey.
Sudden illness means a sudden and unexpected illness, i.e. an infectious disease or organic disorder, established by an authorised specialist physician, which arises after the conclusion of the travel contract/purchase of the airline ticket and is not related to, nor a consequence of, any previous health condition, and is of such a nature as to require treatment or a stay in hospital (hospitalisation) and to prevent the commencement – use of the contracted journey.
An AIRLINE TICKET for a charter programme or on scheduled routes, as well as on the routes of LOW COST AIRLINES, is an ACTUALLY INCURRED COST. It is subject to a charge of the full 100% of the amount on the Air carrier’s invoice!
If the Airline doubts the authenticity of the Passenger’s medical report, it has the right to request that the examination be carried out at a health institution with which it has a cooperation agreement, in which case the Airline bears the costs of establishing the passenger’s state of health if it turns out that the Passenger’s originally submitted medical report was in order.
In the event of withdrawal from a journey that is covered by an insurance policy, the passenger exercises his or her rights directly against the insurer.
The AGENT recommends that you insure your journey against cancellation with an Insurance company in order to avoid inconvenience resulting from undesirable events that may prevent your journey.
INVOLUNTARY REFUNDS
If the airline cancels a flight, fails to operate a flight according to the flight schedule, fails to land at the place of destination or place of stopover, or if, through the fault of the Air carrier, the Passenger misses a connecting flight for which he or she holds a reservation, the amount of the refund will be:
if no part of the Ticket has been used, an amount equal to the fare paid by the Passenger;
if part of the Ticket has been used, the refunded amount will not be less than the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for travel between the points for which the Ticket was issued.
RIGHT TO REFUSE A REFUND
The AVIO KARTA portal and the Air carrier have the right to refuse to pay a refund in the following cases
a) when the request for it is submitted after the expiry of the validity of the Ticket.
b) if the return ticket was a condition for permission to enter the country,
c) if the document is registered in the database of suspicious documents
d) if, when making an online reservation, the passenger entered incorrect passenger data, an incorrect destination or incorrect flight dates
TO WHOM THE AIRLINE TICKET IS REFUNDED
A purchased airline ticket is refunded exclusively to the passenger/the person who ordered the airline ticket. The refund will be made in the same manner in which the airline ticket was paid.
Change of a purchased airline ticket
A change of the travel date is made at the place where the airline ticket was purchased or at the airline whose ticket was issued.
A request to change the date of a purchased airline ticket may be made exclusively:
• in writing by the person who ordered it, from the same email address or telephone number that was provided in the ticket reservation. For the protection of your privacy and security, information may be obtained and changes made only by the person who reserved the ticket.
• by a person authorised by the purchaser of the ticket coming to our office. The authorisation is sent in free form by email or by telephone via SMS from the number stated in the reservation
The AVIO KARTA portal will change the dates on the airline ticket in accordance with the applicable fare rules. The fee of the AVIO KARTA portal for issuing a new, changed electronic airline ticket amounts to TSC 0 euros + the Penalties for changing the ticket, as written and provided in the reservation confirmation as the PDF document Flight rules + an Upgrade to a higher class if there are no seats in the same class as on the ticket.
LOSS OF BAGGAGE
A passenger whose baggage checked in at the departure airport has not arrived at the final destination reports the loss of baggage at the specially marked desk (LOST LUGGAGE / LOST BAGGAGE / LOST AND FOUND). A passenger reporting the loss of baggage must present the airline ticket bearing the stickers for the checked baggage. The stickers are affixed to the ticket by the airline employee who checks the passenger in for the flight. As a result of baggage handling or bad weather, this sticker may be damaged or may fall off and be lost, which causes the baggage to go to the wrong place. Baggage sorting is carried out manually by airport staff on the basis of the stickers, and there is always the possibility that, through human error, some baggage is placed on the “wrong” belt and goes to an unintended destination.
The search for lost baggage is the responsibility of the airport services. The movement of baggage is tracked electronically. Each piece of checked baggage has a sticker (tag) bearing the destination code as well as a barcode through which data on its owner and itinerary can be checked. When baggage “goes astray” and appears at another airport, it is recorded and entered, with detailed descriptions, into an electronic database where it can be found by those responsible at the destination airport where its loss was reported.
Damaged baggage or any theft of baggage contents must also be reported on the prescribed form at the same desk.
In most cases lost baggage is found within 24 hours, and it rarely happens that it is found later. Located baggage is sent on the first flight to the final destination, where it is usually delivered to the passenger at his or her home address, hotel or place of stay.
Most airlines reimburse unplanned costs of purchasing necessary clothing if the passenger has been without baggage for several days. Airlines provide this reimbursement only if the passenger was left without baggage at a destination that is not his or her place of residence. Airlines also determine the amount of reimbursement themselves and accept only reasonable costs.
Lost baggage can be tracked via the internet. The lost baggage tracing system is known as “Worldtracer”, and with its help passengers of some forty of the world’s largest airlines can locate their lost suitcase themselves. On the website www.mylostbag.com it is necessary to enter the passenger’s surname and the reference number, which can be found on the baggage sticker affixed to the airline ticket.
The AVIO KARTA portal accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to baggage.
VISAS
The passenger is obliged to obtain the necessary travel documents and visas and to comply with the laws, regulations, decrees, conditions and travel rules of the countries to/from which he or she travels and through which he or she transits.
AVIO KARTA AND THE AGENT accept no responsibility for the consequences suffered by the Passenger if he or she fails to obtain the appropriate documents or visas and fails to comply with the aforementioned laws, regulations, decrees, requirements, conditions, rules and instructions. If the passenger sets off on a journey with invalid documents, expired passports or inappropriate visas, even though he or she has been warned and has been provided with a notice and a statement confirming that he or she holds the documentation, visas and a valid passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of return from the journey, the responsibility is exclusively his or hers.
REFUSAL OF ENTRY INTO A COUNTRY
The passport control officer has the discretionary right to refuse you entry into the country if you do not have the appropriate documents or the necessary visa.
However, even if you have a visa and a valid passport, you may be refused entry into the country on the basis of the officer’s free assessment that you are a risk person.
Officers may ask passengers to present other documents for inspection, and even money for inspection. This is often the case with citizens of Serbia, who are under particular scrutiny by European immigration authorities owing to the large number of false asylum seekers. Persons who have been deported back to Serbia after staying in another country, following the rejection of their asylum application, may, upon arrival at Belgrade airport, apply for assistance to the Readmission Office.
Additional documents that may be requested upon entry into the countries of the European Union include:
• travel health insurance for the planned period of stay
• a return airline ticket
• a letter of invitation or an accommodation reservation (voucher)
• sufficient funds – the amount depends on the country but usually ranges from 35 to 50 euros per day of stay.
CUSTOMS INSPECTION
The passenger is obliged, if so required, to be present at the inspection of his or her own Baggage by customs or other state authorities. Neither the airlines nor the Portal www.aviokarta.rs accept responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by the Passenger during the said inspection or as a result of non-compliance with the said rules.
REFUSAL OF RESERVATION
The AVIO KARTA portal has the right to refuse reservation orders when the user violates the terms of use of the AVIO KARTA portal.

METHOD AND DEADLINES FOR CLAIMS

In the case of more serious injuries, the carrier is obliged to report the damage itself.
2. The passenger must make a claim to the carrier for damage to checked baggage immediately, at the latest within 7 days of collecting the baggage. Damage to carried goods must be claimed immediately, at the latest within 14 days of their collection. A complaint regarding liability for delay must be submitted in writing within 21 days of the day on which the baggage or goods were delivered. In the event of non-delivery of goods, a claim must be submitted within 120 days of the date of issue of the air waybill.
