Deadlines are approximate and apply to international flights, based on airline information (October 2026). Airlines change them, so always confirm the exact deadline on their website.

Web check-in with low-cost airlines

With Wizz Air and other low-cost airlines, online check-in is not just more convenient but also cheaper: checking in at the airport desk costs extra. Wizz Air opens free check-in 24 hours before the flight, with a random seat, and closes it 3 hours before departure. If you pay for a seat, you can check in up to a month in advance.

Tips before departure

  • Codeshare: check in with the airline that operates the flight (“operated by”).
  • Air Montenegro and Arkia from Belgrade: online check-in is not possible, check-in is at the desk.
  • Checked baggage: even with web check-in, you drop it off at the bag drop desk before the airline’s deadline.
  • Visas and documents: for the USA, the UK, China and some other countries, documents are checked at the desk.
  • Infants and special assistance: check-in at the airport is usually required.
  • Boarding pass: keep it in the airline’s app and as a screenshot, in case there is no internet.

Every ticket bought on aviokarta.rs includes Premium service: if you get stuck with check-in, baggage or a flight change, call us free of charge on 0800 400 000, message us on Viber/WhatsApp 063 42 42 84 or fill in the form on the My Flight page.

Web check-in questions

How long before the flight can I do web check-in?

Usually 24 to 48 hours before departure. Some airlines allow it earlier: easyJet up to 30 days, Pegasus 7 days, Eurowings 72 hours, and Wizz Air up to 30 days if you buy a seat. The deadline for each airline is shown on its card.

What details do I need to check in?

Your booking reference (six-character PNR) or e-ticket number, surname and the details of the travel document you are travelling with. All of this is in the confirmation you received from aviokarta.rs.

What if I miss online check-in?

With traditional airlines, you check in at the airport desk at no extra cost. With Wizz Air and other low-cost airlines, airport check-in is charged, so do it on time.

Do I have to go to the desk after web check-in?

Only if you have checked baggage or if the airline needs to check your documents (e.g. visas). With hand luggage and a boarding pass on your phone, you go straight to security.

Why won’t the airline’s website let me check in?

Usually because the check-in window has not opened yet or has closed, the flight is operated by a partner airline (codeshare), you are travelling with an infant, or the destination requires a document check. For tickets bought through aviokarta.rs, call us free of charge on 0800 400 000.

Where do I check in if the flight is operated by another airline?

On the website of the airline that actually operates the flight, not the one whose flight number it is. In your booking this is shown as “operated by”.
